# Translation Ayah
1 By the night as it envelops. وَاللَّيْلِ إِذَا يَغْشَى
2 By the day as it appears. وَالنَّهَارِ إِذَا تَجَلَّى
3 By Him Who created male and female. وَمَا خَلَقَ الذَّكَرَ وَالْأُنثَى
4 Certainly, your efforts and deeds are diverse. إِنَّ سَعْيَكُمْ لَشَتَّى
5 As for him who gives and has Taqwa, فَأَمَّا مَن أَعْطَى وَاتَّقَى
6 And believes in Al-Husna. وَصَدَّقَ بِالْحُسْنَى
7 We will make smooth for him the path of ease. فَسَنُيَسِّرُهُ لِلْيُسْرَى
8 But he who is greedy and thinks himself self-sufficient, وَأَمَّا مَن بَخِلَ وَاسْتَغْنَى
9 And denies Al-Husna. وَكَذَّبَ بِالْحُسْنَى
10 We will make smooth for him the path to evil. فَسَنُيَسِّرُهُ لِلْعُسْرَى
11 And what will his wealth avail him when he goes down (in destruction) وَمَا يُغْنِي عَنْهُ مَالُهُ إِذَا تَرَدَّى
12 Truly, on Us is (to give) guidance. إِنَّ عَلَيْنَا لَلْهُدَى
13 And truly, unto Us (belong) the last (Hereafter) and the first (this world). وَإِنَّ لَنَا لَلْآخِرَةَ وَالْأُولَى
14 Therefore I have warned you of a Fire Talazza. فَأَنذَرْتُكُمْ نَارًا تَلَظَّى
15 None shall enter it save the most wretched. لَا يَصْلَاهَا إِلَّا الْأَشْقَى
16 Who denies and turns away. الَّذِي كَذَّبَ وَتَوَلَّى
17 And those with Taqwa will be far removed from it. وَسَيُجَنَّبُهَا الْأَتْقَى
18 He who gives of his wealth for self-purification. الَّذِي يُؤْتِي مَالَهُ يَتَزَكَّى
19 And who has (in mind) no favor from anyone to be paid back. وَمَا لِأَحَدٍ عِندَهُ مِن نِّعْمَةٍ تُجْزَى
20 Except to seek the Face of his Lord, the Most High. إِلَّا ابْتِغَاء وَجْهِ رَبِّهِ الْأَعْلَى
21 He, surely, will be pleased. وَلَسَوْفَ يَرْضَى
