# Translation Ayah
1 By those who pull out, drowning. وَالنَّازِعَاتِ غَرْقًا
2 By those who free briskly. وَالنَّاشِطَاتِ نَشْطًا
3 And by the swimmers, swimming. وَالسَّابِحَاتِ سَبْحًا
4 And by the racers, racing. فَالسَّابِقَاتِ سَبْقًا
5 And by those who arrange affairs. فَالْمُدَبِّرَاتِ أَمْرًا
6 On the Day the Rajifah shakes, يَوْمَ تَرْجُفُ الرَّاجِفَةُ
7 Followed by the Radifah. تَتْبَعُهَا الرَّادِفَةُ
8 Hearts that Day will tremble. قُلُوبٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ وَاجِفَةٌ
9 Their vision humiliated. أَبْصَارُهَا خَاشِعَةٌ
10 They say: "Shall we indeed be brought back from Al-Hafirah" يَقُولُونَ أَئِنَّا لَمَرْدُودُونَ فِي الْحَافِرَةِ
11 "Even after we are bones Nakhirah" أَئِذَا كُنَّا عِظَامًا نَّخِرَةً
12 They say: "It would in that case, be a return with loss!" قَالُوا تِلْكَ إِذًا كَرَّةٌ خَاسِرَةٌ
13 But it will be only a single Zajrah. فَإِنَّمَا هِيَ زَجْرَةٌ وَاحِدَةٌ
14 When behold, they are at As-Sahirah. فَإِذَا هُم بِالسَّاهِرَةِ
15 Has there come to you the story of Musa هَلْ أتَاكَ حَدِيثُ مُوسَى
16 When his Lord called him in the holy valley of Tuwa, إِذْ نَادَاهُ رَبُّهُ بِالْوَادِ الْمُقَدَّسِ طُوًى
17 Go to Fir`awn; verily, he has transgressed all bounds. اذْهَبْ إِلَى فِرْعَوْنَ إِنَّهُ طَغَى
18 And say to him: "Would you purify yourself" فَقُلْ هَل لَّكَ إِلَى أَن تَزَكَّى
19 "And that I guide you to your Lord, so you should fear Him" وَأَهْدِيَكَ إِلَى رَبِّكَ فَتَخْشَى
20 Then he showed him the great sign. فَأَرَاهُ الْآيَةَ الْكُبْرَى
21 But he denied and disobeyed. فَكَذَّبَ وَعَصَى
22 Then he turned back, striving. ثُمَّ أَدْبَرَ يَسْعَى
23 So he gathered and called out, فَحَشَرَ فَنَادَى
24 Saying: "I am your lord, most high." فَقَالَ أَنَا رَبُّكُمُ الْأَعْلَى
25 So Allah seized him with punishing example for the Hereafter and the first (life). فَأَخَذَهُ اللَّهُ نَكَالَ الْآخِرَةِ وَالْأُولَى
26 In this is a lesson for whoever fears. إِنَّ فِي ذَلِكَ لَعِبْرَةً لِّمَن يَخْشَى
27 Are you more difficult to create or is the heaven that He constructed أَأَنتُمْ أَشَدُّ خَلْقًا أَمِ السَّمَاء بَنَاهَا
28 He raised its hei- ght, and has perfected it. رَفَعَ سَمْكَهَا فَسَوَّاهَا
29 Its night He covers and He brings out its forenoon. وَأَغْطَشَ لَيْلَهَا وَأَخْرَجَ ضُحَاهَا
30 And after that He spread the earth, وَالْأَرْضَ بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ دَحَاهَا
31 And brought forth therefrom its water and its pasture. أَخْرَجَ مِنْهَا مَاءهَا وَمَرْعَاهَا
32 And the mountains He has fixed firmly, وَالْجِبَالَ أَرْسَاهَا
33 As provision and benefit for you and your cattle. مَتَاعًا لَّكُمْ وَلِأَنْعَامِكُمْ
34 But when there comes the Greatest Catastrophe فَإِذَا جَاءتِ الطَّامَّةُ الْكُبْرَى
35 The Day when man shall remember what he strove for. يَوْمَ يَتَذَكَّرُ الْإِنسَانُ مَا سَعَى
36 And Hell shall be made apparent for whoever sees. وَبُرِّزَتِ الْجَحِيمُ لِمَن يَرَى
37 Then for him who transgressed فَأَمَّا مَن طَغَى
38 And preferred the life of this world, وَآثَرَ الْحَيَاةَ الدُّنْيَا
39 Verily, his abode will be the Hell; فَإِنَّ الْجَحِيمَ هِيَ الْمَأْوَى
40 But as for him who feared standing before his Lord, and forbade himself from desire. وَأَمَّا مَنْ خَافَ مَقَامَ رَبِّهِ وَنَهَى النَّفْسَ عَنِ الْهَوَى
41 Verily, Paradise will be his abode. فَإِنَّ الْجَنَّةَ هِيَ الْمَأْوَى
42 They ask you about the Hour when will be its appointed time يَسْأَلُونَكَ عَنِ السَّاعَةِ أَيَّانَ مُرْسَاهَا
43 What do you have to mention of it. فِيمَ أَنتَ مِن ذِكْرَاهَا
44 To your Lord it is limited. إِلَى رَبِّكَ مُنتَهَاهَا
45 You are only a warner for those who fear it, إِنَّمَا أَنتَ مُنذِرُ مَن يَخْشَاهَا
46 The Day they see it (it will be) as if they had not tarried (in this world) except an (`Ashiyyah) afternoon or its (Duha) morning. كَأَنَّهُمْ يَوْمَ يَرَوْنَهَا لَمْ يَلْبَثُوا إِلَّا عَشِيَّةً أَوْ ضُحَاهَا
